22nd-Sep-2007 11:51 am - AMV and Fan-Fiction
Yes, I made a Kodomo no Jikan AMV and a Tokyo Mew Mew fan-fiction. Haha.
15th-Sep-2007 04:19 pm - Wah!
I haven't posted in a whole week.

I got three new books today: Barry Trotter and the Shameless Parody, Waking up in Memphis and Spells & Psychic Powers. These are supposed to keep me going until I get Tokyo Mew Mew - yes everyone, I ordered some new manga! *dances*.

Speaking of Tokyo Mew Mew, it's my new obsession. Not kidding - I freakin' love it. And when I love an anime I make a fan-fiction or make it my desktop. Here is Dreamers Steer by the Stars - enjoy!
8th-Sep-2007 12:45 pm - Oh My God!
I didn't update yesterday >.<. The first time since I started this journal that I didn't update! *am annoyed*. I can't believe I thought I could keep it up, with me planning my own personal website soon, and some other stuff. Plus, I have an online story, but until I complete it, I'm only giving my friends the link. I'm currently writing Chapter Four and the only person who I know for a fact has actually read is my onee-chan. I gave two other people the link though.
6th-Sep-2007 08:34 pm - Hiya <3
Sorry, I don’t seem to be updating much, eh? Year 9 is a pretty hectic year, and although it seems like a long time with me being only thirteen, it’s time to think about college and all that jazz. I’m be fourteen in April, SATs with follow, in May, and then it’s Year 10, which, of course, means GCSEs will be upon us soon!

Therefore, I don’t have much time.

However, I do apparently have time to read the first volume of D.N. Angel, which is slightly confusing, but good, none-the-less. Oh, and Lucky Star, the new book by Cathy Cassidy. It’s good so far. I’m gonna finish it tonight and give it back to onee-chan tomorrow. She has my Fruits Basket Volume One. We’re like that <3. We borrow books from each other all the time. I’m gonna go to town as soon as possible and pick up some new fiction books, and travel books. You know those ones where travellers write about there experiences? Well, I want one of them.
5th-Sep-2007 09:12 pm - Anime
Does anyone know a good anime I would be interested in? I need something to keep me busy until the Kodomo no Jikan anime comes out.
4th-Sep-2007 08:01 pm - First Day Back
I actually enjoyed the first day back at school. OK, it was kinda stupid. We got our planners, timetables and a bunch of letters to take home, but I still have no idea what set I'm in. They've changed it all now you see. I used to be in 8J1, the top set - but parents were complaining about favouritism (?), so instead of spliting students into 'sets', they put them into 'populations', where the students in each class are picked at complete random. It makes me feel like a number, but because this is going to be how it works until I leave school, I'm gonna have to live with it.

S'OK with me then, I guess. But now more parents will be complaining.

Anyway, I read thirty chapters of Full Moon wo Sagashite now. I've finished both the manga, and the anime, which is a first for any anime series. And you can tell if Beth-chan likes a series when her desktop has something to do with it. The only thing I have a problem with? Stuff was missed out in the anime. There was 52 episodes, and the whole anime was just a filler. Nothing was the same. Even the Takuto/Mitsuki moments were held in a completely different place, and Meroko/Izumi was almost missed out completely.

I mean... well... in the anime Takuto tells Mitsuki he loves her once. He must say it about five times in the manga before she decides she loves him back. And, Mitsuki glomps him every chapter at least once.

But, anyway... it doesn't matter. I liked it and that's that. 'Kaaay???

Well, I guess this is my last post before it's back to school again *sigh*.

Mm... I need to go to bed in about an hour...
3rd-Sep-2007 03:37 pm - Cupcakes <3
I've decided I'm going to make cupcakes for everyone because it's our first day back tomorrow. My friends could do with some cheering up, you see. What type should I do? Chocolate? Or just normal cupcakes?

Do I even have the ingredients?! *sigh*. I haven't baked in a long time. I made flapjacks about two weeks ago, but that was with my brother, and he basically hogged all the good jobs. Speaking of him... that brat has been complaining all day because he promised his friends our mother would take them to play golf. And he didn't even ask her. So now she's gone and taken them because he won't stop complaining, and because his friends rang the doorbell at eight in the morning telling her they were ready to go...

Hmph.
3rd-Sep-2007 01:18 pm - Melon Bread
More than anything, right now I want to try melon bread. It looks and sounds delicious.

I came across it when watching Shakugan no Shana, which is an anime about a girl called Shana, who is a 'Flame Haze'. It was drawn by the same person who drew stuff for Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, but to be honest, the characters in the anme look like more detailed versions of characters from Lucky Star. In the manga the drawings look similar, though.

Hmm... I'm on episode two now, but will have to watch the rest later.
3rd-Sep-2007 12:07 am - Anime News!
I also posted this on the official Kodomo no Jikan community. *excited*

Hurray! I bring news of the Kodomo no Jikan anime series airing in October 2007! Wow! That's pretty soon! Although it doesn't say what day exactly. I've had a look at who's playing the characters, and what shows they've been in, and judging what I've seen so far, the anime looks amazing. Because there are only four volumes released so far, it looks like there will be twelve to fourteen episodes, and it even said on the website that sortly after that, there will be an OVA *claps*. The website is here. There is also a page called 'movie', but all there is on that page is a mysterious 'Coming Soon' sign... hmm...

OK, so the opening theme is 'Rettsu! Ohime-sama Dakko', and will be performed by Rin, Kuro and Mimi. That would be the song we heard on the anime preview, right? I'm freakin' addicted to that song! But I hate the talking in the background *cries*. I don't know what 'rettsu' or 'dakko' means, but ohime-sama is something about a prince <3.

The ending is a song called 'Hanamaru Sensation' by a band called Little Non. Like all anime, the ending will probably just be some pictures of all the characters in some chibi form... standing around.

Eri Kitamura plays Rin. Potemayo, Mermaid Melody: Pichi Pichi Pitch and Maria-sama ga Miteru are some of her works, and I am pleased with her voice.

Junji Majima plays Daisuke. I think of all of the characters, I'm most pleased with his. He had parts in Rozen Maiden and Honey and Clover.

Kei Shindou as Kuro (<3) - her voice actress as never been in anything huge, but if I remember correctly, in Yume Tsuki she was AMAZING. Shindou-san played a girl of around Kuro's age in it, and although I never got to the second episode, I admired the little girl's voice actress, and had no idea who is was until now.

Worryingly, Mai Kadowaki has the part of Mimi. She's been in freakin' everything, from Ouran High School, to Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, which is kinda worrying. She can pull off a high-schooler, but can she pull of a kid in elementary school? We'll have to see.

My only worry? The hair!! Can they pull it off??? Rin, Kuro and Mimi's hair is really hard to draw, so I'm worried.

As soon as the anime is released, I will try my super, duper hardest to get the MP3's for the opening and ending. Until the actual release, here are some pictures of the girls I found on the official website.

Rin-chan // Kuro-chan // Mimi -_-
